CRUISIN 1956 - Robin Seymour, WKMH Detroit CRUISIN' 1956 is the second of the Ron Jacobs-produced CRUISIN' Series, but the first to be released in 1971. CRUISIN' 1955 was released after the original seven. For more background on this original and unique production, check out the CRUISIN' DEMO featuring exclusive narration from Mr. Jacobs himself - back in the day. Thank you, Whodaguy! Jack Gale, WHNE Norfolk VA 1976 Those of you who remember Jack Gale from his many years on WAYS in Charlotte, N.C. (and before that at WTMA in Charleston, WITH in Baltimore and WMEX in Boston) and those who have discovered this outstanding radio talent via REELRADIO, will appreciate this rare aircheck from his time at HONEY RADIO in Norfolk. There are two gags here I never heard on WAYS, but our old friend Frank The Frog is counting the money. Thanks, Jack! Bob Shannon (Don Bombard) WCBS-FM NY 2002 Here's another Bob Shannon aircheck in The David Adams Collection. This Bob Shannon is actually Don Bombard who is still at WCBS-FM in New York (as of the publication of this issue on July 27, 2008.)
