- REELRADIO filed Form 8718, "User Fee for Exempt Organization Determination Letter Request", and Form 1023, "Application for Recognition of Exemption" with the Internal Revenue Service on October 31, 2000. On December 5, 2000, the IRS notified REELRADIO of exempt status during an Advance Ruling Period beginning on March 23, 2000, and ending December 31, 2004. Following submission of Form 8734, "Support Schedule for Advance Ruling Period", on March 21, 2005, the Internal Revenue Service notified REELRADIO that we would continue to be classified as an organization exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
We are required to make our initial application for exemption "widely available" for public inspection. Posting this information on the REELRADIO web site meets this requirement. You may view or copy our application (as an Adobe PDF document) by clicking here.
